Although the proportion of schedule II opioid prescriptions with longer days' supply increased during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, daily MMEs per prescription remained stable (Figure 9). From RY21 to RY22, daily MMEs continued to decline. On average, it decreased from 59.3 in RY21 to 59.0 in RY22 (0.6 percent). In the figure below, two specific data points are indicated: 57.9 daily MMEs in April of RY21, and 59.1 daily MMEs in June of RY22. OUTCOME 2
