The majority of those who plan to retire (76.8%) cited “time to retire” as the top motivation for retiring (Figure 16). Nearly 10.2% of PAs (or 1,105 of 11,916) said they plan to relocate to another state in the next five years, the majority of whom said this was due to family and lifestyle/recruitment (Figure 17).
