MQA Quarterly Performance Report

UNLICENSED ACTIVITY INVESTIGATIVE SPOTLIGHT MQA’s Unlicensed Activity (ULA) Program helps the public understand the risks of receiving health care from unlicensed practitioners. According to section 456.072, Florida Statutes, providing medical care without a license can result in fines, penalties, and even jail time. The ULA Program works with law enforcement and state attorneys to investigate and take legal action against unlicensed practitioners, which helps protect the public and uphold professional standards.
