OFFICE OF VETERAN LICENSURE SERVICES In 2023, Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill 139, establishing the Office of Veteran Licensure Services (OVLS) within the Division of Medical Quality Assurance (MQA) to assist veterans and their spouses with the health care licensure process. In partnership with Veterans Florida, OVLS will also facilitate a referral program to assist veterans and their spouses with obtaining training, education, and employment in Florida’s health care professions.
