Continuing education/continuing medical education (CE/CME) requirements are intended to encourage professionals to maintain
competence, expand their foundations of knowledge and stay up-to-date on new and developing areas of their field. Starting with license
renewal cycles in 2015, health care practitioners must report continuing CE/CME course hours to renew their licenses. A diverse array of
approved CE providers offering a variety of topics and formats facilitates the practitioner in meeting specific learning needs.
