DOH Strategic Issue Areas
The MQA Long Range Plan for fiscal years 2013-2015 details the Division’s strategic
priorities, operational goals and key measures to monitor the performance of the Division.
Section 456.005, F.S., requires MQA to develop and implement a strategic plan. This plan
serves as a road map for accomplishing our mission. It is an active plan, and must be
revised and modified to remain current with trends in health care services and regulation.
Gathering input and feedback from MQA employees, board/council members, and the
Division’s many stakeholders is essential, as is familiarizing them with the plan and
involving them in accomplishing plan goals.
