Continuing education/continuing medical education (CE/CME) requirements are intended to encourage professionals to maintain

competence, expand their foundations of knowledge and stay up-to-date on new and developing areas of their field. Starting with license

renewal cycles in 2015, health care practitioners must report continuing CE/CME course hours to renew their licenses. MQA marketers have

also been traveling to association meetings to educate licensees on new CE/CME requirements and opportunities.
